Food Is Love started as a catering company in 2004, and we opened the restauant in October, 2005. We are located in Englewood, Florida at the corner of Dearborn and 776, in the Publix shopping center.

We are open for breakfast and lunch from 8:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. - seven days a week. Breakfast is served until 11:30 a.m. Monday thru Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. We stay open until 4 p.m. M-F offering our prepared foods - just in case you need a little help with dinner!

We LOVE BBQ, so in the fall of 2008, we started serving BBQ three nights a week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. We bought a commercial smoker and Tod perfected his dry rub - and four delicious sauces (always on the side) to add to the ribs, chicken, pork and brisket. We also added a beer and wine service, all the yummy fixins, and home made desserts. Check out our BBQ menu. Dine in or Takeout available, and always - CATERING! AND for those of you who REALLY love BBQ we have nightly ALL YOU CARE TO EAT specials...Thursday is AUCE St. Louis Ribs, Friday is AUCE chicken, and Saturday is AUCE pulled pork...you gotta check it out!

SPECIAL EVENTS!!!

Tuesday, October 27th is our 3rd Annual TaTa Tuesday!!! Come help us raise money for Dollars for Mammograms (dollarsformammograms.org), a local non-profit that helps pay for mammograms for women who are under-insured and un-insured. Guest servers donate 100% of tips, and we'll donate 10% of restaurant proceeds to the cause. It's a FUN day, and all the money stays local!!! AND you can get a 'Save Second Base t-shirt FREE (with a $20 donation:)
